Am I dreaming or is this dessert so easy and so good?!?!?
Oreo’s, marshmallow, cheesecake, chocolate pudding, and cool whip all in one amazing dessert. This dessert is soooo good and easy that you’ll be making it for every occasion. Think Christmas, potlucks, picnics, or just the weekend. And the best part is that it is super easy to make and guaranteed to impress!
This dessert is perfect if you have been wanting an easy no bake treat. It is sure to be a great addition to your recipe box. First, you start with a rich chocolate layer of crushed up Oreo’s. Add your Oreo’s to a food processor. Alternatively, take out your frustrations with a rolling pin to crush them into small pieces.
I bought my food processor a few months ago. I started making my very own homemade Cheese Itz at that time. It has saved me so much time in the kitchen! So far I’ve used it to create dough, cut up vegetables and shred blocks of cheese! Its saved me so much time and has lead to a much healthier diet! If you are looking to purchase one here is the one I bought and highly recommend: Food Processor
The next layer of our marshmallow chocolate lasagna is an easy no bake marshmallow cheesecake. It is so good you could eat it by itself! Top the cheesecake layer off with creamy chocolate pudding. This will take you about 5 minutes to whip up. Finish this easy dessert off with a layer of cool whip. Bonus points if you want to make homemade whipped cream, but it’s not necessary.
Why You Will Love This Recipe:
- Absolutely no baking involved! Everyone loves a good time baking in the kitchen. However, this recipe will allow you to take a break from the heat of the oven.
- Its a good balance of soft and crunchy. The soft cheesecake center is creamy and delicious. This balances well with the crunchy chocolate chips and Oreo layer.
- Perfect for potlucks or parties! The preparation is simple since it’s just in one pan. Let it set overnight. Then, it’s ready for any gathering. I personally love making this dessert for summer get together!
Ingredients You Will Need:
- Oreo’s: One package of Oreo’s will be the base layer to this dessert. Make sure to get the regular Oreo’s. Avoid getting the double stuffed or thin Oreo’s to ensure the base turns out nice and solid.
- Butter: Butter is added to the Oreos. This prevents the base layer from becoming too dry. It also helps it hold together when adding additional layers.
- Cream Cheese: This is the foundation of the cheesecake layer.
- Marshmallow Fluff: This adds to the creamy texture of the cheesecake layer of our lasagna!
- Powdered Sugar: This adds sugar to our chocolate lasagna without it becoming too grainy. The powdered sugar blends in well with the cream cheese and marshmallow fluff.
- Vanilla: This recipe wouldn’t be complete without vanilla! This adds more flavor!
- Heavy Cream: Adding heavy cream to the cheesecake layer will help make the layer smooth and more spreadable when it comes time to adding it to our pan,
- Chocolate Pudding Mix: I used one instant pudding chocolate mix for this lasagna. The 5.9 oz box should be big enough. It will add some more chocolate to balance out the flavors. It will also add more chocolate to the lasagna.
- Milk: Add milk to the pudding mix to create your chocolate pudding base. Make sure the milk is cold when you add it to your mix!
- Cool Whip: Add one 8 oz container of cool whip to the top to complete your lasagna!
- Optional Ingredients: Add mini marshmallows to the top of your lasagna for added texture. Include chocolate chips for a unique twist to traditional chocolate lasagnas!
I hope you try this one out at your next gathering, as it will be a big hit!
