Spaghetti Sauce – No Sugar Added

Beef – I use ground round for my sauce, but any ground meat will work

Tomato sauce – if you like chunky sauce, reduce the amount of sauce and add some diced tomatoes

Red Pepper Flakes – this can be omitted if you don’t want a spicier spaghetti sauce

The basics….

  • Cook minced garlic in olive oil until fragrant
  • Add ground beef and spices to pot to let the spices heat up and bloom
  • Cook the tomato paste down before adding any liquid to the pot
  • After adding the broth and tomato sauce, let the sauce simmer to thicken
